@chucholetsm8one I felt the same way, then I realized after an hour of chewing each meal, I had no desire or cravings to eat anything between meals. What a wonderful gift!!!

The purpose of juicing is to REMOVE the fiber, not because fiber is bad, but to give your body a chance to get nutrients almost directly infused into your cells. Think of it more as a healing modality, but as we all need healing, a juice a day could do us all good! Try to have it separate from your meals for the full effect, and then for your meals you’ll get plenty of healthy fiber in the form of whole fruits, vegetables & leafy greens!

Hey Dan. Hiking question. 10 miles up the mountain and 10 miles back. Is that right? If it’s right can you tell how long did it take you to do that. What did you carry with you? (water? juice? apples? or nothing?) Would be good if you have a GPS logger and post your time-track file for us. Cheers.

Anyway , I am all for fruits veggies and sprouted seeds . However I know for a fact to be a professional bodybuilder you have to be on about 1.2 -2 grams of performance enhancers a week . Common example 450 mg testosterone cyp , 450mg Nandrolone , 300 mg Masteron . This is combined with about 200 grams of protein a day . It is what EVERY bodybuilder does that competes , unlees they are on the natural bodybuilding circuit . This is why there is no drug testing in pro BodyBuilding whatsoever .

Look , first I want to say Iam not anti-veganism . I believe the world would be cleaner if we did not raise beef and there are MANY advantages to plant based diets . I agree with that 100% . I just get irritated when people say you can eat vegan and be built like say Batista on WWE or whatever its called . 1 who wants to look like that ? 2 you have to eat some animal protein to hold that much extra muscle weight , not that it is even good for you to do so . Ask Dan the Man here he used to BB .

2- Chimps are different, they have tribes that hunt and tribes who are only plant eaters. They also have tribes who are nut eaters and they teach small chimps to brake nuts with tools. I know that chimps are closer relatives to us than gorillas, but I used gorillas as an example because they are more powerful creatures. The point is: we human CAN eat plants and be strong and healthy! That is my point.

I’ll make two posts, it’s lots to say…
1- No our digestive system is not identical to gorillas. AxaptaMan didn’t say that and I didn’t say that either. I just said that they are close to us. You are right about chimps, they are closer to us than gorillas. I don’t know much about DNA, but that’s what I have heard. You are also right about chimps that they eat meat. They hunt and kill other monkeys. But not all of them.

Did you actually look up Markus Rothkranz and the work he’s done? He SHOWS, not talks about or lies, body builders that are vegan. I’m sorry if you can’t comprehend this concept.
Body builders always talk about lots of protein. Spirulina has more protein than most meats, can be thrown in water and drunk…no fake chocolate protein shake required. Also check out Marcus Patrick.

There are zero professional bodybuilders that are vegan and that is the worldwide total , if you are just talking about America , well then it would also be zero . I weigh 178 pounds , I can bench press 315 pounds and I can also do 35 pull ups in one set . I am not even an athlete . I have never met a strong vegan in my life and I worked at a Whole Foods . I am not agianst being vegan , don’t lie to promote it . Are you really saying our digestive system is identical to gorillas ?

Watch clips by Markus Rothkranz and ummm how about Dan Mac?!? Look at his body, he’s WRIPPED, he talks about climbing mountains and running 10 Miles. He DOES NOT eat meat.
Don’t believe the hype. There are many body builders, yes body builders, who are VEGAN and only eat plant-based products. And no they don’t take steroids.
I say this to you because I was like you. Reconsider your research.

A gorilla has over 40 strains of “good” bacteria in their intestine , you as a human have 5 . You are not a gorilla . Chimpanzees are our closest relative and they do eat protein . They eat other animals even other primates . They actively hunt monkeys for a food source . Vegans are not as strong as people who eat meat , that is a fact . They have tried putting world class athlestes on vegan diets with horrible results . I however don’t need to bench press a truck , just drink juice 100 years .
